I have been working ona new pattern this weekend. Just in time for Halloween, this pattern has a stitch pattern that creates little spiders marching up the foot.
The pattern includes instructions for working the socks from the toe up, or from the cuff down. The short row method is used for the heel.
Instructions are also included for working the pattern in two colours.
And for adding beads to the body of the spiders.

That is just too cool!! I've had to set aside knitting until my arm heals, but I hope to knit a pair for next year!
