I did make a project last weekend that I had hoped to share today, although I was not good at choosing something that could be finished in two days so it took a little longer. It is almost done, just the ends to weave in but I am somewhat undecided about it and might end up frogging it. If I keep it I will show it next Friday.
I don't think I have shared this on a FO Friday, I had a quick check and can't see a post about it, but if I have please just look at the cute.
Pattern: Owl Puffs by Jenna Krupar
Yarn: Wendy Sorrento, leftovers from stash, just a tiny amount in each colour
Needles: 2.5mm dpns
A lovely simple pattern, quick to make with a very cute outcome.
I am not great at embroidery, especially on knitted surfaces so if I made the pattern again I would maybe make a felt beak, if the base yarn was wool you could needle felt the beak and eyes on.
Bless. He's a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteIt's cute. Needle felting sounds like a great idea if you ever knit this guy a friend.
