Fo Friday- Feather and Fan wristies

More from the bright pink acrylic pile, these are a pair of very simple fingerless mitts/wrist warmers made in a feather and fan pattern. It seems to be a stitch pattern that pops up around Ravelry, so I figured I should give it a go. It is much easier than I expected, both to remember and work.

The yarn is Peter Pan, made by Wendy, it is lovely and soft with quite a low squeakiness. The pattern is Accidental Girly Mitts by craftyLis. I am tempted to make some for myself (not in bright pink) as I was so pleased with how they came out, but I am trying not to repeat patterns, there are so many out there!

I worked them in the round rather than flat, as I was unfamiliar with the stitch pattern it took me a while to realise I could skip the K1 (or P1 for WS) at each end as that was a seam allowance.

There is no shaping, just a space left for the thumb by switching to working flat for a few rounds then back to in the round.

The feather/fan arrangement is left up to the knitter, I alternated between the two.
