Tour de Fleece day 22

I had planned to ply my superwash merino today, but I used that for my Kromski challenge yesterday. I carried on with the Shetland fibre from Chopped Tomatoes on my drop spindle instead.

I am planning to navajo ply this in the hope of making some sock yarn. However, it is spinning up very pastelly, the dyed fibre has bright blue and red patches, like this:

I am not a huge pastel fan, so I might spin something else to ply it with, perhaps a grey or black. Or I might just try learning to love pastels instead!
