I finally got a chance to play with my new wheel this week, spinning an unknown superwash fibre. It is thin, as always, and I think it is a little overtwisted, but plying and finishing will hopefully fix that. I have about 100g of the fibre, will probably make a 2 ply and dye it for socks (of course!).

I have spun a bit more of it now, more photos next week when hopefully I will have most of the singles done. It is so much faster than drop spindling, but I need some more practise to get faster at drafting, some of the tour de fleece rates are still a long way off I think (100g/4oz or more a day!).
