Techniques- Russian join

I thought about doing a few techniques postings, but the internet is full of them and I can't hold a camera and knit anyway. So for now I have decided to do links to pages with techniques that I have found especially useful. This will kind of act as a library for me when I forget what I am trying to do and hopefully might also point others in the direction of what they are looking for.

Skill for today is the Russian join, used to join two ends of yarn together. I am a big fan of this as it means no sewing in at the end of the work. I learnt it from here:
