He is cute, and the shiny black eyes look very lifelike. But he is not quite as neatly finished as the snail from a few weeks back, I think my knitting skills are much better than my crochet, out of practise maybe.

I had to line his shell with some green felt as the granny squares had holes in that would have let the stuffing out.
I've been eyeing up that tortoise pattern for a while now. Yours is so cute, I love his little face. It's got real personality.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that tortoise! It may be the cutest one I have ever seen. We used to have a pet turtle. His name was Franklin and we found him in our swimming pool. He lived with us for a couple of years and we watched him grow for a tiny turtle until a nice sized one. I screwed up cleaning the tank...we now have him buried with the raspberry bushes. Yeah...I'm not so great with indoor pets.
ReplyDeleteHappy Fiber Arts Friday!
He is adorable!!! I love him, he is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHave an amazing weekend.
Warmly
Linda

ReplyDeleteOh, I've got that pattern queued! I've got it in mind for a SIL who loves all things turtles.
