A square most days

I am not sure how this happened, because I am sure I knit a square each day, but when I went to upload the photos I only have six. I suspect I forgot to take a photo one day and since the squares are all teh same it gets really hard to remember which ones are new.

So here are the six squares for this week, I thought since the yarns are scraps I would say where each was used originally if I can remember.

First up is some hand dyed in my raspberry sauce colourway, I used this to make my B socks for the A-Z sock knitting challenge.

Blue Regia World circus from my R socks

Katia Ole, bought on my birthday trip to the wonderful pizza place and used to make my M socks

Black and turquoise Zauberball, Christmas present 2010, used to make Kai-mei (K sock)

Knitting goddess yarn won on the Palyful day podcast. Used to make Q socks. Love the colours of this.

Knitpicks stroll, used to make my E socks when I tried to make a pair of socks in 24 hours. This is one of my favourite sock yarns, I think I need more.

So six tiny stories and six squares, next week I will try to remember to take the pictures. I have found sewing ends in is not so bad when I do a couple a day, most days I have managed a few.

  4. I like the use of the sock yarn! It makes it look...I'm not sure how to call it. It looks a bit vintage because of the sock yarn, I love it!

  7. Brilliant, I love seeing the gradual progress. My sister hands on all her sock yarn remnants to me. What a great way to use them up.

  15. What gorgeously cute little sqaures! I think your right to join and sew in ends as you go along, it would be such a mammoth task if left till all the squares are finished!
